New WernerCo National Distribution Centre – Bigger, Better & Open Longer

WernerCo is delighted to announce that they’re soon to unveil a new centrally-located distribution facility, which will shortly become operational for delivery and collection of their Youngman, Werner and Abru brands of ladders.
The substantial investment in the new, state-of-the-art facility will help the world leader in ladders provide the very best service, with regular scheduled delivery days by their dedicated fleet.
The new national distribution centre (NDC) will enable WernerCo to hold higher levels of stock, all indoors, and improve the efficiency in the dispatch process.
The ladder company has also installed the latest modern handling equipment for accurate stock control and storage location data. And what’s more, the facility will operate longer hours than presently, with a 24 hour Monday-Friday service.
From 30th November 2015 all ladder distribution will be carried out from the new NDC, whilst the distribution of BoSS tower products will continue to be handled by the current facility in Maldon.
However, this won’t affect customers ordering a mix of both BoSS towers and ladders on one purchase order as they’ll receive their deliveries in two parts, with corresponding delivery notes and invoices.
There will be a collection centre at the new facility, so for any customers who normally collect ladders from either Belper or Maldon, WernerCo looks forward to welcoming those as well as showcasing their new premises.
As Werner will no longer be holding stock of ladders in Maldon or Belper there will be no collection facility at these sites. BoSS towers will continue to be available for pre-agreed collection from Maldon.
