WHAT IF I’D LIKE TO LOAD EQUIPMENT WITH A SMALL WHEELBASE, SUCH AS A GENERATOR?
All three Werner ramps include a locking feature to connect the pair, creating a single ramp.
I DON’T WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON A RAMP, AS I ONLY NEED TO LOAD MY 4X4 A FEW TIMES A YEAR. IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE?
Yes, Werner has a cost effective Straight Ramp Kit available, which offers flexibility to fit and support 2x8, 2x10 and 2x12 boards.
WHEN SHOULD I USE AN ARCHED RAMP?
Both the R522 Folding Arched Ramp and R302 Arched Ramp are recommended for both high and low clearance vehicles. Tractors, riding mowers and ATVs are all acceptable for loading.
WHICH RAMP WILL I NEED IF I WILL ONLY USE IT TO LOAD MY ATV 4X4?
The R301 Straight Ramp would be ideal for loading high clearance vehicles, such as a 4X4.

WILL MY CANOE OR KAYAK FIT ON THE TRUCK RACK SAFELY?
Yes, the Werner truck rack is suitable for both canoes and kayaks so long as the weight does not exceed 250 lbs. Vinyl strips and Cargo positioners are included to protect cargo from transit damage.
I HAVE AN OVERSIZED LADDER, CAN I ADJUST THE ARMS?
Yes, the arms adjust from 26” – 36” for multiple applications.

I AM CONCERNED THAT MY VAN RACK WILL BECOME RUSTED; HOW DO I PREVENT THIS FROM OCCURRING?
The van racks include silicone sealant which can be applied around all set bolts and the area where tubes telescope.
WILL THE VAN RACK INSTALLATION VARY DEPENDING ON WHICH MAKE OF VAN I HAVE?
Yes, the van rack manual illustrates where the gutter clamps and protectors need to be positioned for both Ford and GM vans.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF I NEED TO USE A VAN RACK FOR EXTENDED LADDERS?
Werner offers two third bar options for longer length extension ladders. Please reference the chart on the website to see which bar option will fit the make and model of your van.
