I weigh 224lbs, should I buy this ladder for occasional use?
I need a ladder for occasional use for small projects or around the house - I'm 224lbs, does that mean it's useless to me if I want to put a can of paint on it?
We would not suggest using a type II ladder for safety purposes if you weigh 224lbs. We would suggest purchasing a type I stepladder to support yourself along with any tools or accessories.

Different tool holder
I have an older FS206 that is red, not green, with a different tool holder than the one shown here. Mine is yellow with different hole configurations and I don't think the tools will fit. Why the change in design? I assume the tool holster accessories will not fit my ladder correct? Will the 76-9 pail shelf still fit?
The 76-2 will fit.

What is a good coating for fiberglass for protection from sun damaged glass splinters.
Good ladder, had it 11 years, store it outside. After around 5 years, it started shedding glass splinters. It is progressively getting worse, I now have to use gloves to keep my hands from being a pin cushion.
What is a good, safe, and cheap coating material to use for hand protection?
We suggest using a primer followed by 1-2 coats of an acrylic lacquer or polyurethane paint with UV additives.
