PDIA08 Type IA Fiberglass Podium Ladder is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased a PD1A04 Podium Ladder shortly after you introducted them, "BEST LADDER I HAVE EVER OWNED", Thanks I purchased a PD1A04 Podium Ladder shortly after you introducted them (BEST LADDER I HAVE EVER OWNED) I have 4 other Warner ladders which I love, Thanks. I am 71 and this ladder is safe and makes me feel even safer with all the great features. I can't say too much about what this ladder has allowed me to do. The only disadvantage for being 6' tall is once I am on the platform in a room with 8' celling's I can not stand there in comfort, my head rubs the ceiling and my neck/head is at a 4/5 Degree angle. With such a wonderful ladder would you consider producing a 4' or 5' ladder the same as the 6'? PLEASE, I will purchase both at once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PDIA04-Safe and easy to use for work at 10ft area Ladder is light when carried, but strong- feels very solid when working on the platform. The feet are larger than standard ladder feet and help with stability.I am using it around my home to clean/repair gutters, mount security lighting, etc. Good safe product.Safety is always first and this ladder has been engineered well. Now I need the PDIAO6 to access the 12 foot range.

Are these considered OSHA compliant for the work place?

we have people working on the sides of machines or equipment at this height. would the lack of a rail that would prevent them from stepping back off of the ladder be a violation? has any of your clients had OSHA look at these?

Are the handrails the same for both ladders?

The PDIA08 does not show up on the parts/model search. The ladder I received had the black top handrail cracked when I got it. I just ordered the handrail from the parts list for the PD6208. Is this going to work?
Asked by: Michael
Yes the handrail is the same for both model of ladders. This will work with your model of ladder.

I'm sorry to read that the podium ladders will not accept the pail shelf for paint trays. Is Werner planning on making an shelf for paint rollers? I am interested in these ladders mostly for painting.

We have not been informed that we are manufacturing any pail shelf that can hold a paint tray for the podium ladders. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
