354 4 ft Type II Aluminum Step Ladder is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little ladder I recently purchased it due to the good price and excellent reputation. As a former paint contractor, I know the brand very well. I hate the weight of fiberglass ladders, so I chose aluminum. You can't go wrong with it.

Aluminum Painters Platform ladder

Many years ago I purchased your painters ladder model 264. It has only two steps; 1st step normal 3" step. The 2nd (and last) step was a platform that made easy standing. I NEED TO REPLACE THIS BUT CAN't locate a ladder like this. WHERE CAN I FIND A SIMILAR LADDER. Thanks for your help.

can the bottom feet be purchased separately

Asked by: Anonymous
The foot kit is available as a replacement part. If the mark number on your ladder is any numbers 9-12 then you would need foot kit 21-3. You can find the mark number on the duty rating sticker on the side rail of your ladder. If you want to purchase this foot kit please go online to www.wernerco.com or visit a distributor in your area.

Paint shelf

Is the paint shelf designed to fold while the ladder is in use, for non-painting activities, so that I can place the ladder closer to the wall?
Asked by: Anonymous
The paint shelf on this ladder is able to be removed for using the ladder closer to the wall.

The ladder has no mark number, what feet does it take?

Entered model 356 and mark 1 and no results. Cannot find mark number anywhere on the ladder. Thanks!!
Asked by: Anonymous
Werner Co. only carries replacement parts for 15 years. A 356 with an MK of 1 is a stepladder that is older than 15 years. We unfortunately do not have any replacement feet that would fit that model of ladder.

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
