Hook ends

We are interested in something similar to a 3212 stage but with offset hook ends. Do you make such a model? We would also require guardrails for it.
Asked by: Anonymous
We don't manufacture stages in offset hook ends. We have nestable stages, but not in that size.

Inspection

Hey Guys, How often should I inpect the 3212. Like to see if it is still strong and to see if any weak spots are showing. Are there any service manual .PDF files that can be sent to me so we can inspect them?
Asked by: Anonymous
You should inspect all climbing products prior to each and every usage. Unfortunately there are no service manuals and/or PDF files that can be sent. Inspect the entire plank thoroughly and follow the label instructions. Thank you for your inquiry.

Can the stage be simply supported at both ends?

if the stage 3212 is only bolted at both the ends to frames & if there is no support in the center of the span, will the stage withstand 750 lbs. without deflection? if not what is the permissible load it can withstand in these conditions?

How is Load Capacity Defined re. Support/Spacing?

1. Specifically, what kind of intermediate support, IF ANY, is assumed with 3200 Series stages? My application relates to your 3239. 2. IF intermediate support is required, what support spacing (span) is specified to carry 750#s within OSHA/ANSI? 3. Last, if intermediate support is required for a 750# Load, what is the Load Limit for NO Intermediate Support on a 39 foot span? 4. Please reply via my email if these questions can not be answered via a Q&A Reply. Thank you.

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
