The maximum width of ladder jacks that can be used are for a 20 inch wide platform. A wider platform should not be used with ladder jacks.

If the plank is damaged at the ends,is it ok to cut them off?

We do not suggest ever cutting a stage for safety purposes. This will corrupt the integrity of the stage and affect the duty rating.

1, Is there posted dimensions for the stages? In particular I am interested in the hole spacing and diameter, distance from the end and typical spacing. 2. Can the stages be supported by the holes if the round bar is strong enough? 3. Is there posted dimensions for the guardrails that attach to the stage? 4. Are AutoCad blocks available for the 2624 stage with handrail?

Hand rails are available to attach to the aluminum stages. The hand rails come in components, so that the user can get the correct pieces for each length of stage and number of sides. Hand rail components can be found on our website at http://us.wernerco.com/en/products/climbing-equipment/stages/guard-rails

How far apart can the vertical supports be for a 32' plank ?

Can the plank be supported on each end and still keep its 500# , 2 person rating ?
Asked by: Anonymous
The 2600 series planks require a minimum of two supports, one at each end. Each support is required to be between 12 inches and 18 inches from the respective end. As long as the plank has these two supports, it will hold the stated duty rating.

Can i get the mounting brackets for the guardrail system for this?

I have this exact plank and guardrail system to go with it, but i'm missing the mounting brackets that mount the posts to the plank. Obviously it would be dumb to buy a whole new guardrail system just for some mounting brackets, can i buy some?

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
