do you have 40 foot multiple extension ladders?

We need to reach at least 40 feet, but be able to store the ladder in as small a space as possible.
Asked by: swampie777
The scaffolding towers have a maximum height of 40 feet. When using the tower, guardrails and outriggers are required to meet local codes. The scaffolding towers do break down into individual components for easy storage and transportation. When ready to use the tower, each component is assembled to make sections to erect the tower.

If the outriggers do not fit in a tight area, can the scaffold be tied back if tied back appropriately?

can this be put together by 1 person?

Asked by: Anonymous
The aluminum scaffold towers can be assembled by one person. The components snap together using a spring loaded locking clasp. While the tower can be assembled by one person, it would be easier and more efficient to be assembled by more than one person.

Can the base horizontal braces be moved three feet up in order to clear church pews?

One of the tasks I do is underneath church pews. Can the base horizontal braces be moved just above pew height?
Asked by: James Lea
Unfortunately no. The brace cannot be moved to a different height. This would affect the integrity of the scaffold.

Do the outriggers go out at an angle from the base?

I am looking for scaffolding that can be used between church pews (which are bolted into the floor) for changing light bulbs in the chandeliers. I need the ends to be at 6 feet from one another, no longer. I also need the base to be able to clear the tops of the pews, which are 36" in height.
Asked by: Fr. Ben
The narrow span towers have out riggers that should be used when climbing the scaffold to provide the scaffold with a wider footprint for stability on the scaffold. The outriggers are angled outwards from each corner of the scaffolding tower. The base section of the scaffold tower has support braces that will secure the base end frames together when weight is applied to the frame.

How wide is the widest disassembled part?

I need scaffolding that will fit through a narrow opening and was wondering what the widest section is.
Asked by: Trevor
The base end frame on this tower would be 29" wide.

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
