To pass an intermediate support brace on a pump jack system, temporary support braces are required. The temporary support brace is installed above the intermediate brace so that the intermediate brace can be removed while passing. Refer to the instructions for further details on passing an intermediate brace.

if construction company working on my apt. building leave poles up during storm, should lightening become a safety issue?

It appears the aluminum poles have no grounding, and lightening storms are very common at this time...are they serving as lightening rods?

are the aluminum poles compatible with the steel pump jacks and workbench?

I am wondering if I can use the aluminum poles with the steel pump jacks and work bench holder or do i need to use wood poles?

The aluminum pumpjack poles are designed to be used with the aluminum pumpjack system. The steel pumpjacks are designed to be used with a wooden pole. The grip on the steel pumpjack will not hold on the rubber of the aluminum pole.

width of stage and pump jack

I have 16 inchs between two houses the I need to get up between the two to install siding, is there a set up that will fit in 16 inch space

Anyone using a Pump Jack would need at least 36” from the structure where the attachment brace is mounted to the back side of the pole. Depending what is behind the attachment brace, they would need an additional 4-6 inches from the back of the pole (rubber side) to the end of the T-Handle on the mounting brace.

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
