Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wood decking needs to have an outside alternative Werner needs to make an outdoor alternative to the wooden decking installed on this scaffold. The decking is not designed to be stored outside. Maybe add an aluminum alternative?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor Braking Design Overall an outstanding product ,although the brake design is a poorly engineered hunk of junk ,the friction lever "twist" left or right locking the swivel as well as the wheel - a flimsy design from your reputaion ,twice have had to remove wheel assembly ,and manipulate friction lever back to position ,otherwise this scaffold is outstanding ,replace the crummy wheel /lock assembly or offer a performance wheel assembly and you have a flawless product

Can I move the scaffold while a person is on the scaffold?

OSHA states that a person may ride a scaffold as long as they follow certain rules, and the scaffold is designed for it. Is it acceptable to do this on the SRS-72?

I have steps with a differential of 7' from one end to the other. Can I use two stacked legs at one end if I use guardrail and outriggers?

Asked by: Mack Daddy
The scaffolding unit should not be used with two legs stacked on one end. When assembling the unit, the base frame needs fully assembled, with the deck support, before assembling the upper section.

Asked by: ILE
We only manufacture one model of outriggers for the SRS-72. They are 18" wide and 20-3/4" long. The model is SRO-72-4 and these are the outriggers you are looking for. You would need to contact a distributor to see if they could get you this product.

Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
